Mani Designs originally began as Manik Wear in 2008 with its launch of unique and stylish breastfeeding covers.  Born from the passion and insight of Tracey Leino, herself a mother of two gorgeous girls, research showed many of the breastfeeding and nursing covers currently on the market covered baby completely and consisted of neck straps and clasps which could prove troublesome, particularly in public situations.  With a view to make nursing mothers and their babies feel more confident and comfortable, each new garment was designed by Tracey with the intention to cover mum, not baby, and simplify the breastfeeding process by not relying on clips and fasteners to hold the garments in place.

In 2010, Rani and Leonie decided to re-launch the existing Manik Wear business as Mani Designs.  It is hoped the new look and feel of the Mani Designs logo and website will further enhance the wonderful garments on offer, with a view to broaden the range over time.
